The Heart Failure Academy
Heart Failure Competency Frameworks
British Society for Heart Failure ‘Heart failure Competency Frameworks’
The British Society for Heart Failure (BSH) has created profession specific and a more general multidisciplinary competency framework which does not focus on job-specific skills unique to any individual profession.
Individuals need to interpret and use this framework according to their own learning needs, role and circumstances. It provides guidance to healthcare professionals who want to learn more about supporting people living with heart failure.
The BSHF competency framework is a good place to support you to identify your learning needs.
The Heart Failure Academy ‘Navigating the patient journey’ map will provide you with bite sized learning opportunities, to upskill quickly in relevant areas.
For more in-depth learning opportunities please visit our range of expert presentations and resource library.
